Dr Louise Foxcroft

Louise read History at the University of Cambridge and is currently the Royal Literary Fund Writing Fellow at Magdalene College, Cambridge. Louise’s PhD thesis was published as The Making of Addiction: The “use and abuse” of opium in nineteenth-century Britain (Ashgate, 2007). Her second book, Hot Flushes, Cold Science: A history of the modern menopause (Granta, 2009), won the Longman/History Today Book of the Year Award 2009, was commended by the Medical Journalists’ Association in the Open General Readership Book Award 2010, and ranked as Amazon’s number one history of medicine title for some weeks. Calories and Corsets: A history of dieting over 2,000 years was published by Profile Books in 2012 and was shortlisted for a Food Writer’s Guild book prize 2013. Sexuality: All That Matters (2014) is part of the Hodder & Stoughton series.

Louise has written for The Times, Independent, Observer, Guardian, New Scientist online, BBC Magazine online, London Review of Books, Erotic Review and the New Humanist Magazine among others, and she has been a guest on ITV and RTÉ1 as well as several BBC Radio programmes

Dr Judith Glover

Judith is a lecturer in Industrial Design at RMIT University in Australia and runs courses on Design and Sexual Health . She possesses the only PhD ever awarded in sex toy design and is in demand for events all over the world. Judith brings a highly informed view about how state of the art manufacturing and design principles will change how sex toys are sourced and produced.

Jan Robjohn

Jan has had a significant career in the Defence and Capital Equipment Industries.  He has worked at director level in Siemens, Lockheed Martin and BAe Systems.

Richard Roberts

Richard is a former officer in the Royal Engineers and combines over 25 years’ experience as a senior executive at board level in Sales and Operations with an organisation development/leadership consultancy background.

Richard has both taken operational responsibility as a senior director for major change initiatives as well as consulting with leadership teams managing the transformation of their businesses. He was managing director of BT Portugal and subsequently of BT Italy where he achieved a highly successful partnership outcome with multiple organisations within Italy. An expert in international alliances he has a proven record of making a difference in this challenging area.
